Is it legal?

I have decided to sell a house which is my grandmother gave it to me before she died. It is somewhere in New Mexico. It is a two-story house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is very old but it is still looks good. I just listed with a realtor for 3 months but I changed my mind and I would like to choose another agent. Is that allowed? Is it legal?
