corner plot home

We are planning to buy a new house in Massachusetts. I found a very beautiful house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. I will live with my husband and two kids. The inside of the house is very nice and I am buying from the builder. However, the house is located on a corner plot. Many people said that it is not a good idea to buy a corner plot house because when the time comes to sell the house it will be very difficult to sell. Why? Is it a risk to buy a corner plot house? What should I do?
