Default problems...

I lived in a co-op building in Chicago Heights. I noticed a roof leak involving another unit that requires taking apart my outdoor wood deck. I asked my co-op to fix this problem. The deck is in perfect condition. The co-op said their going to pay the roofer but I am asked to pay for the removal and re installation of the entire deck even though I did not cause the leak. I will not benefit from the repair. In this case, who should be responsible for the removal and re installation of the deck?
