issue of co-op shareholders

I have been a member of a co-op shareholders association. The association makes serious errors with the house loans of the members. A number of shareholders are behind in maintenance payments. The building’s mortgage payment was not made last month. What will happen to the shareholders if the co-op goes bankrupt or is foreclosed on?
