need a good answer!

I have property here in Carrington Lakes. It is a three-story house with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. The place is very huge and a 6-10 members of a family can live here comfortably. I am selling it since I am moving into Hampton Virginia for my work. I have not inquired about using any Realtors yet. The reason is because I want to make sure I make a good deal with my property. Is this a good time to list a home to sell in my place? Alternatively, should I wait until next year for a better market? How many homes have sold in my area for this year? Has anyone have good information about it?
