Do unregulated market rate renters with leases have similar protections?

My landlord and I were having some problems. I have been his tenant for five years now. I am paying my rent on time. As far as I know I have not missed a payment and I always obey the rules and regulations. I am aware of the lease protections afforded rent-stabilized renters. Do unregulated market rate renters with leases have similar protections?
