Who will I choose?

I want to buy a new home for my family somewhere in New Jersey. I decided to consult a real estate agent. One was very informative, handed us promotional material, familiarize us on the real estate laws and shared some prices. However, the other agent was very informal, made many suggestions and presented nothing in writing. Whom will I choose among them? Do we have to use the informal Realtor since he was recommended first?
